Porcelain Veneer Transformation

After completing orthodontic treatment, this young patient still had aesthetic concerns about her smile. She had a peg lateral on one side and a missing lateral on the other, creating an imbalance that braces alone could not fully resolve. Her orthodontist had laid the groundwork by repositioning her canine and peg lateral to create ideal spacing, setting the stage for the finishing work.

From there, Dr. Wolberg took a conservative approach to complete the transformation. Minor crown lengthening was performed on the peg lateral, followed by a composite veneer to restore its appearance. Small cosmetic bondings on the canine helped create symmetry and close the remaining spaces, tying the whole result together.

The outcome was a natural, balanced smile that blended seamlessly with her orthodontic work. As the patient put it, “After braces, this was the final touch that made my smile feel complete.”
